Vlaams Mensenrechteninstituut
Making human rights accessible for all.
Website, registration- and case follow-up system for the Flemish Human Rights Institute.
Here's a quick summary of the project:
Background
The Vlaams Mensenrechteninstituut (VMRI) is a Flemish human rights body that promotes, monitors and protects human rights in Flanders. It addresses discrimination, advises on policies, and mediates complaints related to human rights violations.
The website is the main point of contact with the Flemish population. It needed a revamp by improving its Information Architecture, implementing its new brand identity, simplifying the reporting process, and including the Geschillenkamer. The Geschillenkamer is a dedicated entity that handles incoming human rights violation cases.
Results and outcomes
A platform that supports the Vlaams Mensenrechteninstituut in its daily efforts to educate the Flemish population about discrimination and human rights, and assist victims—whether by helping resolve their cases or at least be heard.
